I have been growing this pretty, tall species for more years than I like to think about. It has lovely crystalline flowers in small but tight heads. It seems to flower despite the bad treatment and neglect that I have thrown at it over the decades. I like all of the Nerines, but if I lost this it would be an emotional wrench. Every year it bursts into flower in October like the glowing pink ticking of a seasonal clock , and much like a clock, I would notice it if it stopped.
