ARISAEMA
The Arisaemas are a wonderful group of tuberous aroids, slow to wake up in the spring, and not
all of them are fully hardy, but there is a fascination about them that keeps me trying new species.
I prefer to grow them from seed where possible, but it can be a slow business.
Anybody starting to collect the genus should prepare themselves for the experience of failure and loss because Arisaemas are hardcore,
or more accurately soft rot.
